One week to go!!!
My recital is next week and I'm feeling pretty pumped for it. In my lesson this week, we worked out keeping my space...egg in the mouth!!!! Recital went pretty well and Mr. Phil told me that Doppelganger was premium (not exact words). In practice with him today we worked on keeping that space more and made some super progress. I'm really getting comfortable with my music and feeling good about my recital.

YEA, Matt! How did your rehearsal with Mr. Phil go today?! Were you able to transfer the sound from Doppelganger to your English? I know that the more that I beat those concepts into your poor, exhausted head, you will really have a stellar recital! Remember, don't settle for anything less than excellent. You don't deserve anything less than.
ReplyDeleteFocus on each song....sing them twice....sing with your score in front of you once and then repeat without the score. Sing with your recording....listen to your recordings each time you get into your car. This is crunch time! This will make the difference between a good recital and one you will remember for the rest of your life!
