I win!!

I sang yesterday on recital and performed "Lydia" and got all the words and felt awesome when I finished!!! My rep is really coming together and I'm feeling more and more prepared for my recital. Life is falling in to place right now and it takes a lot of stress out of daily thinking. Now that the musical is over I will have more time to practice as well. I'm super excited for my recital but can't believe that it is only two weeks away. :S Craziness!!! I just gotta keep with it and stay focus and everything will work out.

Spring Break!!!!

I don't know if you are "required" to blog over spring break so I'm gonna do it anyway. It's a great way to think outside of my brain so if I'm supposed to or did extra it doesn't matter. Spring break has been wild with trying to catch up on homework, prepare for my jury :@, working, and trying to enjoy break so I feel like I got one. I'm feeling pretty confident with most of my songs but there are a couple that just won't stick in my brain. I'm a bit worried about my jury but I'm just trying to stay confident that it will all work out. On an awesome note, my ear did finally open up and stay open and my virus is gone. So I'm on the healthy side of life once again, just wish it had happened like a month ago. Well it's back to my studies before work. Matty signing out.

The spring break approach

This week has been wild. My ear has been opening and re-closing so it has been a wild time practicing since the sound keeps changing. As of right now, it is open and I think it staying!!!!! YEAH!!!!! It has been a super stressful week with jury coming up, musical tech up, personal stuff with work and such, and classes. It has me stretched super thin and sometimes I don't wanna do anything because there is so many directions to me. Even though, this week has been pretty good. We worked on a bit of everything in my lesson, testing my memory. I feel that is the best way to really work myself hard, just have the music and a little guide if I get stuck. For the most part the songs went pretty well and with this week to hardcore practice, I think I'll be ready for my jury!!! It's only 13 days away!!! AAAHHH!!!
